The theme of this administration is “Welcome Home” and reflects the desire to make our chapters and state Society a welcoming environment for current and future DAR Members. The State Regent’s Project reflects the “Welcome Home” theme by providing support to active duty and veterans, supporting the President General’s project of restoration of DAR Constitution Hall and the digitization and access to the KSDAR Annual Reports and Proceedings. The Board of Management approved this project at the 2019 State September Meeting.
Chapters are encouraged to submit applications for a Welcome Home Grant. These competitive mini-grants support activities that welcome home our nation’s veterans and current service members – whether a physical home of the home that is created through healing and purpose. Applications are due by March 15th.
